About Elan

Elan Bortniker is a versatile musician and dedicated science educator based in New York City. A graduate of NYU and Berklee College of Music, Elan honed his musical talents as a member of the Berklee All-Star Jazz Band. He has since toured with platinum-selling artists and recorded numerous original songs, including contemporary interpretations of Jewish classics. Elan is also the driving force behind Ebee Sounds, a creative project that showcases his unique musical style.

In addition to his musical endeavors, Elan has been teaching science at Innovation Diploma Plus High School since 2019, where he inspires and educates the next generation of learners. His multifaceted career reflects a deep commitment to both the arts and education.

Elan’s passion for music and community engagement extends beyond the classroom. He frequently performs around the New York metropolitan area, bringing his dynamic performances to various audiences.
