Guitarist, singer-songwriter Tom Devaney has been a veteran of the New York and Boston music scenes for over three decades. He has cultivated his distinctive avant-folk, post-punk, psychedelic guitar style as a founding member of acclaimed indie outfits Bulkhead and Betwixt in the late 80s through the late 90s. Over the past two decades Tom has led the New York outfit Rotary Club, including bassist/producer Tony Maimone (Pere Ubu) and an assorted group of Boston/New York luminaries. Rotary Club has released two albums, Vis-à-vis (2007) and Second Year in Swine (2011). Tom is currently working on a solo album slated for release by year’s end. Please join us for an evening with one of New York City’s most innovative guitarists at the cozy confines of Mochi Dolci, New York’s best up-and-coming music speakeasy where dulcet sounds mix with delicious gourmet donuts.
